By accessing or using HumanGPT ("Service"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service ("Terms"). If you do not agree to these Terms, do not use the Service. We reserve the right to modify these Terms at any time, and continued use constitutes acceptance of any changes.

2. Description of Service

HumanGPT is an AI-powered text humanization service that transforms AI-generated text to appear more human-written. The Service uses advanced AI models to rewrite and paraphrase content. We aim to reduce AI detection scores, but we do not guarantee complete bypass of all AI detection tools.

3. User Accounts

3.1 Account Creation

You must create an account to use the Service. You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials and for all activities under your account.

3.2 Account Requirements

  • You must be at least 13 years old to create an account
  • You must provide accurate and complete information
  • You must not share your account with others
  • You must notify us immediately of any unauthorized use

3.3 Account Termination

We reserve the right to suspend or terminate your account at any time for violations of these Terms, fraudulent activity, or abuse of the Service.

4. Acceptable Use Policy

You agree NOT to use the Service to:

  • Violate any laws, regulations, or third-party rights
  • Submit illegal, harmful, threatening, abusive, or defamatory content
  • Infringe on intellectual property rights
  • Spread misinformation or propaganda
  • Attempt to reverse-engineer or copy our AI models
  • Overload or disrupt our systems (DDoS, spam, etc.)
  • Use automated tools to access the Service without authorization
  • Resell or redistribute the Service without permission

5. Academic Integrity

⚠️ IMPORTANT NOTICE

You are solely responsible for ensuring your use of HumanGPT complies with your institution's academic integrity policies, honor codes, and plagiarism rules. Using this Service to submit work as your own when it violates your institution's policies may result in academic penalties. HumanGPT is not responsible for any academic consequences resulting from your use of the Service.

6. Intellectual Property

6.1 Your Content

You retain ownership of all text you submit to the Service. By using the Service, you grant us a limited license to process, store, and transform your text to provide the Service.

6.2 Our Service

HumanGPT, including our AI models, algorithms, software, and branding, are owned by us and protected by intellectual property laws. You may not copy, modify, or distribute any part of our Service.

6.3 Humanized Output

The humanized text generated by our Service is provided to you for your use. However, you are responsible for ensuring any use complies with applicable laws and third-party rights.

7. Payment and Subscriptions

7.1 Pricing

Pricing for our subscription plans is displayed on our website. We reserve the right to change pricing with 30 days' notice to existing subscribers.

7.2 Billing

All payments are processed securely through Stripe, our payment processor. Subscriptions are billed in advance on a monthly or annual basis. You authorize us to charge your payment method automatically for each billing period. Failed payments may result in service suspension.

7.3 Auto-Renewal

Subscriptions automatically renew unless canceled before the renewal date. You can cancel anytime from your account settings.

9. Service Availability and Limitations

9.1 No Uptime Guarantee

While we strive for high availability, we do not guarantee uninterrupted access to the Service. Maintenance, updates, or technical issues may cause temporary downtime.

9.2 Service Limitations

Your subscription plan may include usage limits (word count, number of documents, etc.). Exceeding these limits may result in additional charges or service restrictions.

9.3 AI Detection Disclaimer

Results may vary. HumanGPT aims to reduce AI detection scores, but we cannot guarantee complete bypass of all AI detection tools (GPTZero, Turnitin, Originality.ai, etc.). Detection algorithms are constantly evolving, and effectiveness may change over time. Use the Service at your own risk.

10. Limitation of Liability

TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, HUMANGPT SHALL NOT BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES, OR ANY LOSS OF PROFITS, REVENUE, DATA, OR USE, ARISING FROM YOUR USE OF THE SERVICE. OUR TOTAL LIABILITY SHALL NOT EXCEED THE AMOUNT YOU PAID TO US IN THE 12 MONTHS PRIOR TO THE EVENT GIVING RISE TO LIABILITY.

11. Indemnification

You agree to indemnify and hold HumanGPT harmless from any claims, damages, losses, or expenses (including legal fees) arising from your use of the Service, your violation of these Terms, or your violation of any third-party rights.

12. Dispute Resolution

12.1 Informal Resolution

Before filing a legal claim, you agree to contact us at support@humangpt.so to resolve the dispute informally.

12.2 Arbitration

Any disputes that cannot be resolved informally shall be resolved through binding arbitration in accordance with the rules of the American Arbitration Association. You waive your right to a jury trial and class action lawsuits.

12.3 Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of Montana, United States, without regard to conflict of law principles.

13. Modifications to Service

We reserve the right to modify, suspend, or discontinue the Service (or any part thereof) at any time with or without notice. We shall not be liable to you or any third party for any modification, suspension, or discontinuation.

14. Severability

If any provision of these Terms is found to be invalid or unenforceable, the remaining provisions shall remain in full force and effect.
